Just to let icayouth.coop users know that I have completed the site migration, and barring a few minor tweaks it all looks to be working smoothly in its new home.

The current legal cases against cooperatives before the European Commission are attempts by private companies to challenge national co-operative laws and tax regimes. It is another example of our competitors attempting to reduce consumers’ choice, to steal our market share and to end our ethical challenge.

BACKGROUND

Hello!

I am in the process of designing a Youth Environmental Conservation Co-operative. The co-operative will be operate in Canada in the Provincial Parks. Does anyone have any examples working models of youth co-operatives in Canada? There are lots of great educational co-operative camps but not as many business or government partners. If anyone has any information to pass along I would be very grateful.

Cooperative in oyo state is a thing of joy in the past ,but with the present situation cooperatives in oyo state is getting down the pit,because government interference is not really curbing mismannagement and fraudulent practices. CXooperatives in oyo here is seen as a way to fill ur pocket and get the in spector or the auditor along by filling there pocket.

Cooperatives as the name implies is the only way in which any developed economic can maintain or improve its standard,cooperatives is the only source in which both the international organisation could use to help other underdeveloped economy maintain or get developed ,because cooperatives is the only way in which human being are been managed,and this is the only way to make things work out ,nigeria that is believed to be the giant of africa is really laying much emphasis on cooperatives dats y we have both the states and the federal government given great support to cooperatives,poveerty can b

Today , i am at work, but on the field. I usually work with my collegue, whenever i schedule meetings with the Co-operatives. Today i have a meeting with a Credit Union Co-operative Society. The day is smoothe so far, in terms of us getting agreements signed. I noticed though that unemployment among the youth is extremely high in my country. The kids have many responsibilities from young such as raising a household and paying bills. Many are not aware of honest means to self sufficiency.
