In Nepal, government has has made Agriculture and Cooperative ministry for regulation of Cooperative movement. Some people specially, leaders of cooperatives are demanding single cooperative ministry. Since, the movement is people's movement and remaininig its autonomy for ever. Is it good for demanding separate cooperative ministry ? What types of government organs and policy for coop in your country ?

Since the bigest human network of the world, the cooperative movement must have a fostering responsibilities for the deprived people. Governments of the developing countries are remaining as a local agent of multinational companies. Governments do not care for their people and environment. Again through NGOs and INGOs are working parallelly. However, people do not scale up. In this contest, cooperative movement must reach there to empower the people. This is the vital issue to be considered on the coop year 2012.
